The silicone cold shrink tubing with mastic is based on silicone rubber and mastic. The main body is integrally vulcanized from high-performance silicone rubber compound. Non-curing butyl mastic pre-applied to the inner wall at both ends offers excellent plasticity and long-lasting tack, conforming to and filling interface gaps and dead corners to block the ingress of rain, moisture, and dust—delivering markedly higher sealing reliability than ordinary mastic-free cold shrink tubing.
Inside, a removable spiral plastic support core enables room-temperature pre-expansion. By pre-expanding the tube onto the removable support core, installation requires no heating and no special tools: on site, simply position the tube and withdraw the support core at a steady speed, and the tube will automatically contract under the inherent high elasticity of silicone rubber, fitting tightly against the cable surface to form reliable insulation and sealing protection. Together with the mastic at both ends filling irregular interface gaps such as cable unevenness, it creates a tight waterproof, moisture-proof, and insulating sealing system that effectively reduces the risks of outdoor joint oxidation and corrosion, water-ingress short circuits, and signal attenuation. The product is widely suited to RF connectors at communication base stations, outdoor cable splicing, and low-voltage equipment wiring, serving as a standardized industrial accessory for outdoor cable node protection.
The product exhibits excellent resistance to high and low temperatures, ozone, and UV, and is resistant to cracking and chalking under long-term outdoor exposure. Its outstanding resilience and anti-relaxation properties allow it to follow the cable's thermal expansion and contraction for "breathing" dynamic conformity, providing long-term barrier against water vapor and moisture ingress and preventing sealing failure. With stable electrical insulation performance, it is broadly compatible with the termination and splicing protection of medium- and low-voltage power cables, communication optical cables, and coaxial cables, and may also be used for the insulation and sealing of inlet/outlet ports on distribution equipment, meeting the demands of diverse complex indoor and outdoor operating conditions.
To quickly and accurately match the correct specification and prevent mismatched sizing from compromising sealing protection, please provide the following information during selection consultation:
1.The maximum outer diameter of the object to be covered and the required sealing length
2.The specific application scenario
Custom sizes across multiple specifications are supported. We can provide end users and distributors with selection guidance and full-process supporting services, delivering reliable cable insulation and sealing solutions.
