EPDM cold shrinkable tubing is a kind of rubber insulated sleeve that expands on the extractable support tube in advance. In use, the support tube can be removed after positioning. The radial pressure of EPDM is used to form the coating andseal against water and moisture. With excellent weather resistance, acid and alkaline resistance, to achieve the same breath sealingeffect, it is the ideal sealing product for communication cables, coaxial cables, medium and low voltage power cables.
1. Compared with heat shrinkable tubes, it features better weather resistance and UV aging resistance, and does not become brittle after long-term service.
2. Compared with silicone cold shrink tubes, it offers superior puncture resistance, abrasion resistance, and acid and alkali corrosion resistance.
3. It expands and contracts synchronously with accessories in harsh environments, maintaining a tight seal without gaps.
4. It follows the breathing and swinging movement of cables under windy conditions, ensuring consistently excellent sealing performance.
5. Suitable for power cables below 1kV with a wide applicable size range. It can be used for indoor, outdoor, overhead, underwater, and buried installation scenarios.
7. Easy installation without heating or special tools. No hot-melt adhesive or sealing tape is required for joint reinforcement.
